Group Questions:
1 Does your image of Christ lean to the more compassionate and soft side or the more courageous and hard side?
2 Does Christ’s emotion and anger make you uncomfortable? Why or why not?
3 Does the reason Mark gives for his anger (racism) help you understand his passion?
What does it tell you about him? About yourself?
4 Ephesians 4:26-27 tell us, “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.” How does this relate to you, your life, your emotions and this present crisis?
5 The Scriptures describe Christ as the Lamb of God and the Lion of Judah. This balance is amazing. It is our goal. Talk about it.
