2 Think of a a recent loss of something or someone. Which of the ten stages of grief do you particularly remember?

Stage One: Shock

Stage Three: Depression and Lonliness

Stage Four: Physical Symptoms of Distress

Stage Five: Panic

Stage Six: Guilt

Stage Seven: Anger

Stage Eight: Resistance

Stage Nine: Hope

Stage Ten: Affirmation of Reality

3 Philippians 4:8 challenges us, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy- think about these things.” Take a moment, grab a journal, or use your phone, and begin the process of “distracting” your brain with intentional, positive thoughts. Start with today’s today and when you are finished with the list, write down the date and start a new list.
