Hello SouthBrook,

We are excited that the Church has been back in a room together for the past few weeks! Thank you for your part in helping us create and maintain a safe environment that meets the requirements set by local and state government agencies.

Because we want to continue to support all of the requirements to maintain a healthy community, we will require that a mask be worn by anyone attending our onsite gathering at SouthBrook. We have moved from masks encouraged to masks required. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided. This is part of our commitment to keep you and those around you safe.

What we’re doing:

Requiring masks be worn.

Frequently cleaning and disinfecting of all high touch areas.

Adding additional hand sanitizers.

Maintaining social distancing when seated. (2 seats between parties)

No offering bag passed. There’s an offering box at the info desk, but we encourage you to continue to use Pushpay.

No coffee provided. Bring your own Brew.

No communion provided. We encourage you to continue this practice creatively with family.

There will be no SouthBrook Kids, Middle School or High School.

How you can help:

Wear a mask as required.

Maintain social distancing, inside and outside the building.

Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.

Exit the building immediately after the service.

If you feel ill, or are caring for someone with health concerns, consider joining us for our online experience Saturday at 5:30pm or Sunday at 10am.

”Jesus said we wouldn’t be known as his disciples based on our grasp of theology or our perfect attendance at church services or the number of projects we volunteer for. He said in John 13:35, ‘By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you LOVE ONE ANOTHER.’

May we show the world whose we are by our love for one another.”

City Lights...camera...action! It's time to put your talents to work for City Lights! Our vision of a decentralized church-without-walls SouthBrook that connects people to Christ and each other is happening as we speak! It’s a movement to create connection, care, and community. It focuses on bringing the light out in our cities, while also exposing the preexisting light through the good that we are already doing.

If you are part of the SouthBrook nation, but would like to be in a tribe of that nation, SouthBrook City Lights is for you. If you are a leader in your community and have a desire to connect people to each other and to Christ, City Lights is for you. Our Regional and City pastor team is looking for leaders and team members in the following categories.

Story team which catalogues the experience of how City Lights affects our community through video, social media, and writing.

Event team which coordinates city gatherings and service projects.

Prayer team which discovers and monitors the prayer needs of their city and prays accordingly.

Join Us for the GLS Online ExperienceAugust 6-7, 2020

As part of the Southbrook community, we know you are someone who cares about having a positive impact on others around you whether in your professional or personal life. We have an opportunity for you to strengthen that impact through the Global Leadership Summit.

If you haven't already attended a Global Leadership Summit, you've heard us talk about it at weekend service and online. We want to make sure you have the information you need to consider participating in this incredible experience.

We typically host this event every year in person at Southbrook Christian Church, but this year we will host the event virtually to safely social distance and be able to have as many people as possible still attend the event online. In fact, the Southbrook campus will be closed on August 6-7.

The new GLS Online Experience allows you to attend the Summit live with other leaders, directly on your preferred device, from anywhere. Plus, you’ll automatically get 7-Days of Video-on-Demand to replay the Summit talks on your device. If you have already purchased your ticket, you are good to go and will receive connecting instructions closer to the event.

We truly believe this event is one of the most accessible and affordable opportunities for leadership development available anywhere. Do not miss this unique opportunity to connect with other leaders across the country and right in our own community.

Two Days of World-Class Leadership Training:

Gain exclusive access to the LIVE HD telecast of the Summit

Learn from Craig Groeschel and the diverse 2020 faculty

Leverage the Summit to transform yourself and our Dayton community

Get a unique blend of vision, inspiration and practical skills you can immediately apply

Join with people from 123 countries and 60+ languages who attend the Summit around the world
