SouthBrook Update - March 30
Big Update!
Let purpose be thy medicine, Southbrook! And right now, the need is urgent as we serve the most needy in our community! We have helped serve over 500 families in the last couple weeks and that number is growing! Your purpose is to pray! Pray for donations of food and supplies, pray for the health and safety of delivery drivers and pray for those taking care of the sick!
Food 4 the People delivered over 500 units of food boxes to families thanks to SB donors, volunteers and drivers.
Strip Church has made supply deliveries to over 20 women and their families thanks to SB donors.
Farmer in the Deli served hundreds of kids in the Germantown area last week thanks to SB volunteers and donors.
Miami Valley Women’s Center client’s received much needed baby supplies thanks to SB drivers.
Grace 2 Griddle is feeding hundreds of healthcare workers this week thanks to SB donors and volunteers.
Millions of people being prayed over because of SouthBrookers who care!
We know this is going to cost us something. It’s going to cost you something to serve. But purpose is medicine, and our world needs a medicine we can give them right now. So please, pray, continue to drop of supplies Monday - Thursday from 10-6
“There are risks and costs to a program of action. But they are far less than the long-range risks and costs of comfortable inaction.” JFK

How to connect this week
If you're free at Noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays, join us for a guided prayer experience in a Zoom meeting. Our online community pastor, Laura Buffington, will be leading a meditative prayer to help us all navigate the time we are in and support ourselves and those around us.
If you want to join in on practicing the S of Scripture with us over the next few weeks, join this Facebook group. We’ll be taking a good look at Philippians, a letter Paul wrote while he was under forced social distancing orders. We think it can lead us towards a better way of being together even while we’re apart.
